Executive Director Business Integration (Full Time, Day Shift)

Job Summary

Responsible for directing, managing, coordinating, and monitoring Nicklaus Children's Pediatric Specialists (NCPS) growth, affiliation, and expansion activities and operations.  Plays a key role in assuring NCPS is aligned and coordinating with Nicklaus Children's Health System (NCHS) strategic initiatives and partnerships.  Works collaboratively to incorporate market data, local and national trends, and opportunities into all planning assumptions to ensure responsible and fiscal growth for NCPS and NCHS. 

Job Specific Duties

  • Designs and develops business cases for NCPS strategic priorities in collaboration with corporate planning, strategy office, and operational leaders. 
  • Performs business modeling and impact analysis for decisions and ensures financial sustainability of the practice and the health system. 
  • Assists leadership teams in developing and implementing the strategic plan for practice acquisition and development. 
  • Manage due diligence analysis of practice acquisitions and/or affiliations. 
  • Collaborates and builds effective working relationships with key stakeholders. 
  • Acts as a liaison with NCPS partners to maintain sound business relations. 
  • Provides value-added advice and guidance to the NCPS executive leadership team. 
  • Coordinates the accumulation, analysis, and interpretation of financial and statistical data, including benchmark information. 


Minimum Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Management, or related program
  • Certified Public Accountant
  • 7-10 years of experience in physician transactions and arrangements including valuation of healthcare assets, services, and reimbursement strategies
  • 7-10 years of experience in a leadership position in a healthcare environment and multispecialty physician groups

  • Demonstrate courage and commitment in setting and achieving organizations goals.
  • Ability to manage multiple and complex projects; in-depth knowledge of businesses planning process.
  • Ensuring others contribute to organization strategies by focusing them on the most critical priorities, measuring progress, and ensuring accountability against those metrics.
  • Demonstrates leadership behaviors in all customer interactions.
  • Provide accurate, transparent operational, and strategic planning input.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills; able to translate complex issues into less complex concepts.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications, interpersonal skills, consensus builder, and persuasive presenter.
  • Ability to influence and successfully collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and partners.
  • Excellent listening, verbal, written, and presentation skills;
  • Engages others to solicit input and empowers individuals to achieve outcomes.
