Job Summary

Serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, gathering requirements, analyzing business processes, and recommending technology solutions that support organizational goals. In addition to business analysis responsibilities, this role performs quality assurance activities, including developing and executing test plans, validating system functionality, and ensuring solutions meet business and technical requirements. Also provides technical support by assisting users with troubleshooting, resolving system issues, training users, and facilitating the successful adoption and ongoing use of technology solutions.

Job Specific Duties

  • Plans, analyzes, coordinates, and serves as liaison for the activities, projects, and programs related to new business opportunities.
  • Researches developments in new technologies, analyzes and determines business requirements, and develops migration and implementation plans.
  • Develops technical solutions to customer problems and translates outcomes into functional and business solutions.
  • Escalates issues that are not clearly defined or require deeper system changes, while assisting in resolution by gathering logs, reproducing issues, and providing detailed documentation and analysis.
  • Responsible for creating an end-to-end test plan of projects; executing the plan and managing all activities in the plan to ensure that all the objectives are met and that the solution works as expected.
  • Performs statistical and analytical research of large data sets for decision-making and planning purposes.
  • Defines detailed functional and technical specifications required to satisfy business requirements for complex and high dollar program and projects.
  • Works with the development team to provide continuous iterative feedback on all cycles of the project
  • Assists the team in determining which business requirements can and should be automated and how they are then integrated with other business and technical processes.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves well-defined application incidents and service requests using documented procedures.
  • Provides 1st level support to end-users to troubleshoot and resolves well-defined application incidents and service requests using clever thinking.
  • Performs post implementation review of projects to ensure project effectiveness

Qualifications

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology (OR) at least 5 years of relevant professional experience
  • 4-7 years of experience in an analyst role in a healthcare facility or a similar setting
  • 2-4 years of experience documenting requirements, building specs and managing IT projects
  • 2-4 years of experience interacting with stakeholders, providing user support, and understanding complex systems
  • 2-4 years of experience testing web and mobile applications and performing standard QA functions

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Professional Business Analyst (PMI-PBA) Certification or equivalent preferred.
  • Preferred experience in Scrum, Agile, SQL, JavaScript, SSMS, Postman, Azure DevOps, Scripting.
  • Skills and experience in automated testing preferred. Playwright, Selenium, or similar technology.
  • Strong analytical and research skills. Great attention to detail.
  • Communicates in a clear, professional, and succinct manner.
  • Effectively evaluates information/data to make decisions, anticipates obstacles, and develops plans to resolve obstacles.
  • Ability to trend and track productivity results and uses the data to predict future scenarios.
  • Experience translating business requirements into technical requirements.
  • Experience creating and executing test cases, test scripts and test plans, and implementing solutions.
  • Expert at finding issues, bugs and missed requirements in custom developed software solutions.
  • Experience providing technical support, troubleshooting and resolving system issues, and facilitating the successful adoption of a project.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, time management, and critical thinking skills.
  • Team player in a manner consistent with I-CREATE Way Values and practices.
