Manager Finance Data Integrity/Report

Job Summary

Manages the delivery, design, development and support of reports, dashboards and other tools for the various systems applications to support business and financial analytics. Interacts with the user community, developers, and technical departments to promote data governance, information sharing, coordinate enterprise financial information delivery, and assist in the coordination of development methodologies and tools. Play a lead role in the implementation and ongoing maintenance of Decision Support systems and training staff on how to use those systems proficiently.

 

Job Specific Duties

  •  Coordinates the detailed analysis, design, building, testing, implementation, and maintenance of reports, dashboards, and other delivery methods used to support business and financial analysis.
  •  Plays a lead role in Decision Support software implementations.
  •  Establishes standards and structure for statistics and other data collected in Decision Support systems.
  •  Directly supervises and evaluates immediate subordinates. Provides support and guidance in the development of staff. Positively influences subordinates' performance through orientation, monitoring, feedback, education, and counseling.
  •  Improves the implementation, design, and maintenance process by evaluating the adequacy of the tool sets and introducing new tools, techniques, and practices to ensure efficiency and productivity
  •  Establishes standards for Decision Support system maintenance and security.
  •  Develops and conducts system training for superusers/administrators and end users.
  •  Provides assistance to the Leaders in the development of projected timetables for proposed projects.
  •  Researches, proposes, and implements innovative usage of financial systems to provide data in increasingly efficient and effective ways to management needs for making sound business decisions.
  •  Supervises and directs the team's work flow to provide effective and timely financial information delivery services to clients.

 

Qualifications

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Healthcare, or related field
  •  2-4 years Supervisory experience of a team of 3 or more
  •  4-7 years Experience in design, implementation, and maintenance of reports, dashboards, and reporting systems
  •  Experience leading financial system implementations
  •  Experience with project management with solid understanding of milestones, deliverables, and resource scheduling
  •  Experience with training Decision Support/Finance staff on software systems
  •  Experience developing training materials and instructional documentation
  •  Experience communicating financial information and requirements to clinical/operational leaders

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  •  Master's degree preferred.
  •  Proficiency on Axiom Healthcare Suite software preferred.
  •  Healthcare experience preferred.
  •  Ability to analyze and resolve complex application systems problems, provide resolutions, and recommendations.
  •  Ability to design and develop reports, dashboards, and other analytical delivery methods.
  •  Ability to forge strong working partnerships within Information Technology, as well as, the business.
  •  Ability to work at an enterprise perspective.
  •  Excellent verbal communications and customer-relations skills.
  •  Excellent written skills and experience with documentation of issues and resolutions.
  •  Knowledge of data extraction from databases and other systems.
  •  Excellent Microsoft Excel and data manipulation skills.
