Outstanding Opportunities for a Child and Adolescent Psychologist and Mental Health Therapist in Naples, Florida Nicklaus Children's Hospital, a 307-bed freestanding children's hospital and ACS-verified Level 1 pediatric trauma center, and Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists, the multispecialty group practice of Nicklaus Children's Health System, have exceptional opportunities for a licensed clinical psychologist with experience in pediatric psychology, and a mental health therapist. Candidates should possess a passion for advocacy and improving care for all children, which includes delivering on Nicklaus Children’s brand promise of a care environment where every child matters most. This program will integrate psychological consultation and brief therapy to patients in two pediatrician offices in the city of Naples, on Florida’s Southwest Coast. The team will work closely with pediatricians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive psychological services to children and adolescents, including conducting consultations, providing brief therapy, and collaborating with medical staff to support the overall well-being of young patients. Psychological intakes will be completed at the pediatrician's office and outpatient follow ups will take place in a nearby office. Virtual and in-person visits will be offered to the families. The clinicians will also provide peer-to-peer consultation to the pediatricians and their teams regarding clinical care of patients. There is an opportunity to run therapy groups in one of the pediatrician's offices.
