Job Summary

Conducts financial, statistical and analytical reviews, and prepares and assists in the preparation of financial reports, statements, and presentations. Serves as specialized subject matter expert in complex health care functions including but not limited to, Monthly Operating Reviews, Daily and biweekly productivity reporting, and healthcare business operations. 

Job Specific Duties

  • Leads Biweekly Labor Resource Meeting and serves as resource to the CFO.
  • Manages the biweekly reporting to OLT and ELT and mentors leaders through the biweekly productivity process. 
  • Analyzes productivity targets and advises leaders on change impacts.
  • Serves as LaborLytics System Administrator and subject matter expert for LaborLytics and Productivty process.
  • Assists OLT and ELT teams by providing assistance with Axiom Reporting, as well as regular training sessions for new and current leaders. F: Monthly/ T: 2 – 20 hours R:
  • Completes complex ad hoc reporting assignments. 
  • Analyzes data and statistics to identify trends and variances and provides explanation for variances.
  • Prepares accurate financial and statistical reports for internal and external use by government agencies, financial institutions, auditors, and third-party agencies.
  • Assists in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements using generally accepted accounting principles.

Qualifications

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or healthcare related field
  • 4-7 years of finance or related field experience
  • 4-7 years of financial analysis, data management, financial reporting experience
  • 1-3 years of acute care healthcare experience either within the industry or with industry clientele

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Master's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field, preferred.
  • Understanding of hospital operations and business functions.
  • Skill in the use of complex mathematical and statistical techniques to assess financial and statistical scenarios.
  • Demonstrates expert level competency in design and preparation of spreadsheets and other financial reports.
  • Outstanding problem solving, communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to collaborate with all levels of staff across the organization.
  • Conscientious attention to detail and easy strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure to manage and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with Axiom Management Reporting and HealthQlix LaborLytics.
